You're the greatest!
Born and raised in Green Bay Wisconsin. Came to the big city, Brooklyn, NY at 18 and entered Nursing school, as a cadet nurse. Met and married my father, another nursing student. Moved to Bergen County NJ in 1957.Worked as a Narcotic nurse at the Edena B. Conklin Home for over twenty years where they affectionately called her "Nursie." She got 99 on her boards in four categories and a 92 in pediatrics. She is well read- a great lover of knowledge and the mysteries of life. Known to talk endlessly about psychic phenomena, esp, ufo's, alien life, and quantum physics- loves the concept of the string theory, the origin of the universe, stonehenge, the mysteries of the mind, psychology- actually a Doctor offered when she was in Nursing school to pay for her education to become a Psychiatrist, which she would of excelled at, too bad she didn't take him up on the offer. She worked with abused and incorrigable kids at the Edna B. Conklin Home in Hackensack, NJ for many years. The stories she would tell us over dinner would make us lose our appetite. The stories of neglected kids being dropped off by wealthy parents who they didn't want anymore or children who had drug problems- such sad stories. She worked there when the famous Baby M case was being tried and took care of that baby. She is a very positive person, with great health and wealth of compassion for the human condition. She's an old soul, a lovely person and I am proud that she is my MOM!!!!

Mom is a frequent guest
Mom had a whirlwind trip to NYC the past two weeks. She ate at Sardi's, saw two broadway shows- went to the top of the rock, MOMA, and did the street fairs, with antique lace and jewelry bought. Then did Perkins drive, and Monticello raceway!! You rock, Mom! 
She is a frequent guest and we can't wait for more of her pearls of wisdom...............
